Avery Liss is a student at the University of Iowa and is majoring in civil engineering with a focus in structures, mechanics, and materials. Avery is a member of Continental Crossings, which is a service-based organization. Her hobbies included golf, reading, and going to Java House. Through previous courses, Avery has gained experience with various writing assignments such as lab reports and essays. She is very excited to be joining the Hanson Center for Communication this year!
