Elizabeth received her BSE in chemical engineering from the University of Iowa in 2000. She attended law school at Washington University in St. Louis and received her JD in 2003. Elizabeth has focused her entire legal career on patent law. Elizabeth has also been a member of the boards of the College of Engineering for over 14 years. She is currently senior counsel at McKool Smith P.C. in Washington, D.C., and focuses her practice on patent infringement litigation and proceedings in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Elizabeth represents inventors and companies in cases and proceedings involving a wide range of technologies, including software, pharmaceuticals, medical and dental applications, mechanical devices, and semiconductors.
