The Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) has awarded Hosin “David” Lee, a University of Iowa professor of civil and environmental engineering, with its 2025 Distinguished Service Membership Award, citing his “exemplary leadership, visionary service, and profound impact.”

The University of Iowa College of Engineering has announced the hiring of new faculty members for the 2025-26 academic year.

Marian Muste, a research engineer and adjunct professor in the University of Iowa College of Engineering, has been awarded a Fulbright for spring 2026. He will be hosted by the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering (FESE) at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
