Graduate students have two opportunities to receive a bonus for applying for nationally competitive fellowships. The purpose is to encourage submission of applications by providing an incentive to do so. If you submit a fellowship application to any organization, let us know and receive an incentive!
College of Engineering Graduate Incentive Fellowship (GIF) – $100
Eligibility and instructions:
- You must submit a GIF application at the time of your initial fellowship application.
- The fellowship application must be nationally competitive.
- A copy of the fellowship application must be included with the GIF application.

You do not need to have a successful application to receive the $100 bonus, just proof you submitted. Proof of submission can include a confirmation email, screenshot of online submission page, notification of funding decision from the organization, etc.
