Collaboratively explore research, tech, engineering and outreach opportunities, develop/scope proposal, and implementation efforts; co-create Integrated Strategic Roadmap

Anticipated themes to be covered (Note: to be adjusted on the basis of Days 1&2): Articulating/ sharing opportunities related to: funding, proposals, influencing different sectors, informing the decadal survey, communicating/sharing situational awareness with broader communities over near, mid and long-term. Start with challenges to be addressed, assets in hand (all forms of capital), existing gaps/needs. Initial exploration of how gaps can map onto opportunities. Identify outstanding needs unmet by current activities, suggestions regarding types of support needed. Revisiting the current “Harnessing the Heartland” Preamble and suggesting modifications, clarifications, changes to improve the messaging.
