Alyssa earned a BA from Loras College in sociology and psychology, and an MS in student affairs administration in higher education from Texas A&M University. She has worked in higher education and student development for eight years helping students to develop leadership skills. She also developed and hosted a podcast for higher education professionals, “The Big Green Book: A Podcast for the Profession."

Alyssa oversees the Leadership, Ethics, and Professional Pathways (LEaPP) Academy.
