Mechatronics at Iowa logo

Mechatronics at Iowa is a student-run non-profit organization within the University of Iowa, made to help students develop technical skills and knowledge about mechatronics and the intersection of various engineering disciplines. The organization aims to help prepare and assist students by having them compete in university level competitions and technical challenges, as well as support the local community through mentorship and guidance. This organization aims to work with faculty, peers, and industry professionals to cultivate student engineering experience by having students work with industry software and tools that will help them develop professional skills and experience within the various engineering disciplines. We participate in DJI's RoboMaster competition, the largest university robotics competition, and compete with 200+ universities across the globe. We build a series of specialized robots to complete various tasks and challenges and compete in multiple regional tournaments during the school year.
