Reza Kargarzadeh is the founder, president, and CEO of Engineered Plastic Components (EPC), a leading manufacturer of injection-molded plastic products serving the automotive, appliance, medical, and consumer product industries. He founded EPC in 1994 with just four molding presses and has grown the company to over 600 presses across multiple facilities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. EPC currently has 20 manufacturing locations throughout North America. Prior to joining EPC, Reza held engineering leadership roles at Textron Automotive as VP of engineering, where he was responsible for product design, tooling, and manufacturing. He holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Iowa and an MBA from Textron Business School. Reza holds seven US patents relating to automotive product design, tooling, and manufacturing processes. Reza is also the owner of Hope Development and Realty, with approximately 10,000 acres of land in Iowa, of which 3,500 acres are considered development land. Hope Development and Realty is currently in the process of developing over 300 acres of this land in several subdivisions of Des Moines, Iowa. Other real estate projects currently in process are several retail centers, a Hilton Hotel (Tru), and 400 luxury townhome/ apartments.
