In this session, we will explore how metacognition, or thinking about your own thinking, can help you achieve your academic goals. You will be introduced to a step-by-step process to reflect on your semester and evaluate how effective your learning has been so far. Building on those experiences, you will then identify specific strategies to try out for the rest of the semester to maximize your performance. Please bring an assignment or exam, in any course, that has already been graded by your instructor; you can use a paper copy or bring a device that you can access the feedback on. This workshop is facilitated by Learning at Iowa.
