What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming freshman?
Enjoy being a student on campus everyday and leave your comfort zone as much as possible. You never know when the next pandemic might hit the world. Essentially, as cliché as it is, live in the moment.

What organizations outside the college of engineering do you belong to?
Theta Tau, Indian Student Alliance, IMARC

How are you an "engineer ... and something more"?
I am an engineer and something more because I am a part of Indian Student Alliance where we provide the university and Iowa City community glimpses of the Indian culture throughout the year via multiple events.

Is there something else you'd like to tell us about yourself?
I played competitive volleyball for six years and was recruited to play Division 3 volleyball at a school in California.

What is your favorite part about being a student at The University of Iowa?
Being around students who come from various backgrounds. There are kids who grew up on a farm, in big cities, suburbs of a big city, small towns, even grew up internationally, etc. I've gotten to learn so much about the world from them.

Who is your favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor is Gary Christensen because he taught CIE in a manner that was very understandable. My knowledge from that course had helped me gain an internship that summer at a start-up in the Bay Area, California.

What has been your favorite course?
Software Design.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time at The University of Iowa?
Love supporting the Hawkeyes at our home games (all sports) and spending time with my friends.
