Miranda Basart is a third-year environmental engineering major originally from Waukee, Iowa. Outside of classwork, she is involved with the Hawkeye Marching Band, the University of Iowa Women’s Rugby Club, and the Water Environment Federation. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, rollerblading, and listening to podcasts. Miranda is new to tutoring with the Hanson Center but has experience with public speaking, presentation development, and essay writing.
