Four teams of Iowa civil and environmental engineering faculty and students will present their strategies to enhance 24 acres of beautiful, undeveloped forest area at Camp Courageous. These designs involve a multipurpose trail system, a nature education center, stormwater management and detention plans, and systems for reducing contaminants in source water.

This free event will have complimentary appetizers and beverages.

Camp Courageous and the University of Iowa have collaborated with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Maquoketa River Watershed Management Authority on these four projects. We hope to see you there!
