CBE Specializes in extremophile biotechnology, bio catalysis, biomaterials, drug delivery, medical implants, Nano-structured polymers, photo polymerization, atmospheric chemistry, air pollution engineering,environmental science and more.

Civil and Environmental Engineering
CEE supports more than 60 graduate students who research in four areas: 1. Environmental Engineering and Science 2. Hydraulics, Hydrology, and Water Resources 3. Structures, Mechanics and Materials and 4. Transportation Engineering.

Electrical and Computer Engineering
We are proud to have among our faculty a National Science Foundation Presidential Faculty Fellow, a National Science Foundation National Young Investigator, several Fellows of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and more.

Industrial and Systems Engineering
The program offers both PhD and MS degrees, with the MS degree with thesis and non-thesis options. The program benefits from modern human factors research and driving simulation laboratories, and bio manufacturing and manufacturing process laboratories.

Mechanical Engineering
This almost 500 student program offers both MS degree and PhD degrees, with both thesis and non-thesis tracks for the MS degree available. Research focus areas include diverse topics in mechanical systems and thermal-fluid engineering, among several more.
